This may not be the best way to contact the NYC Oxfam Action Corp, but I could not find a definative email.
My name is Stacy Edwards, and I am the president of the Wagner Food Policy Alliance (WFPA); WFPA is excited to be working on the Spring Conference Wagner's International Public Service Association (IPSA) is hosting Friday, March 26th, 2010. We have an exciting day of events planned, all focusing aroudn the theme of Global Food Security.
I am writing to ask if you'd be available and willing to help faciliate a breakout session focusing on nutrition in health. Since you'd be free to focus on what you wish within that context, all we really hope for is to get the students actively engaged! We don't want to have another panel discussion, Q&A session. Maybe you have some thoughts on an exciting direciton you could take the discussion? Since've been thinking about looking into the link between school nutrition and education programs abroad and health, I'm sure speaking on how Oxfam works against reducing malnutition could add much to the conversation!
I look forward to hearing your thoughts. For more information on IPSA, the Spring Conference and WFPA, please see the links below. If interested, it would be wonderful to hear from you within the next day or so.
Sincerely,
Stacy Edwards
