Oxfam Benefit Concert at Union Hall

May 12th was our first ever benefit concert for Oxfam NYC at Union Hall in Brooklyn organized by Oxfam Action Corps NYC members Mercy Bell and Brittany Wilson. The show was co-emceed by Oxfam supporter and multi-pageant title holder Gloria Sophia Almonte and Oxfam Action Corps NYC member Brooke. Brooke did a wonderful job telling the audience what Oxfam is about and rallying them to go outside and write a letter to their Congress person to have adaptation legislation passed.
The night was filled with great friends and supporters of Oxfam performing for us. First was UK singer/songwriter Greg Holden. Next we had an acoustic guitar duo set by Fess, a local singer/songwriter from the Bronx. Following up her set was Regia. And finally Beau Jennings brought the house down with his rockin' set. Please check out these talented musicians at their websites listed below:

The show was a huge success. We raised just over $150 for Oxfam and gathered over 40 letters to Congress.

Thank you so much to everyone who came out to show, all of the wonderful performers, to Union Hall for hosting us and everyone who helped to make this event a success. We could not have done it without your help!
